Painter, etcher. Born in Chelsea, WI on March 10, 1885. Hekking studied in Paris with Laurens, Richard Miller and at Académie Julian followed by work at Syracuse University and ASL of NYC. He was the curator of contemporary art at LACMA in 1937-38. He died in Portland, ME in May 1970. Member: Salmagundi Club.
