John J. Silvasi

Statement made in 1999: Realist artist John Silvasi of Havertown, PA, is primarily self-taught and has exhibited his works throughout the area for the past 30 years. He prefers to work in his favorite medium, watercolor, treating the subject matter in a classic manner. Through the years he has received many awards while holding memberships to art groups such has Hazleton Art League, Chester County Art Association, Art Guild of Delaware County, Bald Eagle Art League, Williamsport, and holds signature memberships to the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, Harrisburg, and the renowned Philadelphia Watercolor Society.
