Curatorial RemarksThe view was most likely painted along Horse Point Road in Port Clyde. This painting may have remained with the Wyeth family until the early 1970s; the signature is not by the artist, more likely by Carolyn Wyeth who is known to have signed paintings by her father that remained in the N. C. Wyeth studio.
