Curatorial RemarksThis illustration is clearly marked within the image "© 1931 / The J. C. W. Co." The rest of the illustrations for two different editions were painted by the artist's son-in-law, Peter Hurd. The Andrew and Betsy Wyeth collection contains a copy of the book ("G.E." edition) inscribed in N. C. Wyeth's hand "Collaborating illustrator N. C. Wyeth" (name underlined).
