Curatorial RemarksAccording to Ann Wyeth McCoy, the "fairy woods" was the property behind Eight Bells where the Wyeth children and grandchildren played. This painting was given to Nathaniel Wyeth and Caroline Pyle as a wedding present. As of 2003, it retains its original frame carved by Frank Coll.
