Curatorial RemarksThe Brandywine River Museum holds a lantern slide (NCWS.95.1825.125) made from the drawing that was used in the transfer of the image from paper to panel (NCW 1337). The drawing is in two pieces--the artist added or corrected along the right side in a strip approximately 3 1/4 inches wide.
