Curatorial RemarksThis is a figure study for the composition drawing (NCW 737) known only by a lantern slide (NCWS.95.1825.75) found in the artist's studio collection (Brandywine River Museum of Art). NCW 596 is the related painting, and NCW 2548 (BRMA, 96.1.146) is a hand study.
