Curatorial RemarksThe view has been identified as Port Clyde harbor seen from Teel's landing. The large building in the middle ground is the cold storage building; Hupper's Island is in the background. This painting is similar in palette and feeling to the larger "Port Clyde, Maine" (NCW 982).
