Curatorial RemarksThis piece was removed from the N. C. Wyeth studio in September 1995. In February 2008, it was examined by Andrew Wyeth, who attributed it N. C. Wyeth. Andrew Wyeth felt that this was one of the drawings N. C. Wyeth did under a woman AW called Mrs. McKissik, a neighbor of the Wyeths in Needham. AW stressed that "McKissik" was probably not the correct spelling of the name, merely the phonetic pronunciation.
