(For similarities with a portrait identified as Reed by NCW himself, see Brandywine River Musuem of Art, 96.1.77, NCW 1544). The drawing relates to NCW 2246.269 and NCW 2246.258, as well as to a page in a sketchbook of junvenile drawings, BRMA 87.2.A-BT.
