Curatorial RemarksThis piece was removed from the N. C. Wyeth studio in September 1995. In January 2008, it was examined by Andrew Wyeth who attributed it to N. C. Wyeth. Andrew Wyeth felt that the sitter might be Henriette Zirngiebel Wyeth, or Mrs. McKissik, the phonetic spelling of the name of NCW's first art teacher.
