Curatorial RemarksResearch for the Chadds Ford 1982 exhibition, which included consultation with Andrew Wyeth, resulted in the ca. 1931 date. Although the frame is not signed, consider an attribution to Maurice Fincken, according to a letter NCW to AW, Oct. 9, 1940, Wyetrh Family Archives.
