Curatorial RemarksThis piece was removed from the N. C. Wyeth studio in September 1995. It appears to be a rejected sketch; NCW 2246.392 is the completed version and NCW 2246.367 is also related. The title may be a reference to "Good Bye Sweet Day," a poem by Celia Thaxter.
