The Wyeth family knew the Aldrich family of Cambridge, as shown in a letter of Jan. 14, 1903, that NCW wrote to Henriette Zirngiebel Wyeth. According to the Cambridge City Directory (1902-1903), Bertha Alice Aldrich and Gertrude H. Aldrich (mentioned in NCW's letter) were sisters living at the same address. Bertha was a music teacher.
