Curatorial RemarksThe Wyeth family knew the Aldrich family of Cambridge, as shown in a letter NCW wrote to his mother on Jan. 16, 1903. According to the Cambridge City Directory (1902-1903), Bertha Alice Aldrich and Gertrude H. Aldrich (mentioned in NCW's letter) were sisters living at the same address. Bertha was a music teacher.
