John McCoy and Andrew Wyeth both painted Jimmy's portrait at the same time, woring in N. C. Wyeth's mural studio. The record for the Andrew Wyeth painting ("Chadds Ford Quaker") gives the date as 1935. Jimmy was a Chadds Ford resident who modeled for Andrew, but records don't contain his last name.
