Curatorial RemarksBetsy James Wyeth dated this drawing from Wyeth's student days at "Mechanic Arts High School, in 1900." Wyeth left Mechanic Arts in May, 1899, so either the date or the school association is incorrect. Wyeth was enrolled in Mass Normal Art School in the fall of 1899 and the spring of 1900; according to registration records there he took classes in "Geometry" and "Perspective."
