Curatorial RemarksGloria Greis, Executive Director of the Needham History Center & Museum, has identified the building in the background of this drawing as the Moseley Building, which stood at the corner of Great Plain Avenue and Chestnut Street. From about 1884 to 1903, the second floor of the building served as a temporary town hall where voting took place. Wyeth's drawing accurately reflects the building and its adjacent post office.
