Curatorial RemarksPhilip Burnet (1878 - 1932) organized Continental American Life Insurance Company of Delaware in 1907. From the artist's studio collection, the Brandywine River Museum holds a lantern slide made from one of the photographs referenced in the inscription (NCWS.95.1825.183).
