Curatorial RemarksCorrespondence in 1957 between Andrew Wyeth and the owner included dimensions (32 x 30 inches) which indicate at that time the painting retained an additional 6 inches of height, accounting for the portion of the sky area which no longer exists and is documented by the original reproduction.
Since 200 7, the painting has hung in the living room of the LBJ Ranch, administered by the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historic Park, near Stonewall, TX.
