Curatorial RemarksFor the present work, Wyeth used a previously painted canvas of several years earlier (NCWS.95.1673). Identification of the under image was made by visual examination; the wagon cover and the wagon wheels of the under image are visible in the upper part of the canvas after the present painting is turned upside down.
