Curatorial RemarksThe finished painting is NCW 1338. The Andrew and Betsy Wyeth collection contains two related sketches for this drawing, NCW 2246.256 and 2246.257. The Brandywine River Museum holds a lantern slide (NCWS.95.1825.110) made from a similar composition done in outline only; the slide was part of the transfer process from paper to panel.
