Curatorial RemarksThe labels on the reverse of the canvas would seem to indicate that the image was reproduced as a poster or calendar, although no reproductions have been recorded. Louis G. Audette & Co. was a New York advertising agency of which Audette was the president from 1926-1958. The Brandywine River Museum holds a lantern slide (NCWS.95.1825.136) of the composition drawing which was used in the transfer from paper to canvas.
