Curatorial RemarksAndrew Wyeth identified this image as his father's work when he helped James P. Simpson with the first compilation of N. C. Wyeth's art in 1946-1947 (see James P. Simpson to H. E. Meyers of Curtis Publishing Co., June 9, 1947, James P. Simpson Collection, Brandywine River Museum library). The Brandywine River Museum holds a pair of Blue Buckle OverAlls that were found in the artist's studio (NCWS.95.4538).
