Curatorial RemarksThis image was intended as part of a proposed set of pictures inspired by famous American poems for distribution by the Coca-Cola Company as educational material for classroom use. The Brandywine River Museum holds a lantern slide (NCWS.95.1825.208) of the printed image set within a layout that includes the text of "Snow-bound" by John Greenleaf Whittier and several Coca-Cola Company logos, although the Coca Cola Company Archives has no record of the series.
