Curatorial Remarks"I sent a picture up to the Phil. Art Club, but don't know whether it will be accepted or not. If not I will send it home. It's a small one entitled "Stubborness" representing a cowboy pulling a calf along with his "rope" (NCW to Henriette Zirngiebel Wyeth, "At last I've got time..." and dated in another hand "April 28, 1903, Wyeth Family Archives). "I am going to the Art Club to get my sketch I sent them, which I'm sorry to say did not sell..." (NCW to HZW, "At the present time...," and dated in another hand May 8, 1903, WFA).
