Curatorial RemarksNo signature is visible in the black and white reproduction of this image that occured in newspapers but a text box printed over the image in the lower right identified N. C. Wyeth as the artist. According to records at the American Tobacco Company, the image appeared only in metropolitan newspapers (M. V. Timlen to James P. Simpson, May 28, 1947, Simpson Correspondence, Brandywine River Museum library).
