Curatorial RemarksThe Brandywine River Museum holds the lantern slide (NCWS.95.1825.108) made from the drawing and used in the transfer of the image from paper to panel (NCW 916).
The drawing was originally adhered to cardboard which was removed during 2015 conservation treatment. On verso of cardboard mount, in NCW's handwriting: Mr. Sanborn: Please make / lantern slides-one each-of the two enclosed sketches / to be called for Wednesday A. M. / N. C. W.
