Curatorial RemarksThe Brandywine River Museum holds a lantern slide (NCWS.95.1825.129) that was used in the transfer of the design from paper to panel (NCW 1225), and a lantern slide (NCWS.95.1825.272) of the portrait that served as a model for the sitter.
