Curatorial RemarksIn a letter to his mother dated September 9, 1904, the artist wrote, "Yesterday (Sunday) I started and almost completed the last "Post" drawing-- a pinto pony bucking up in the grandstand amongst the stampeding crowd. I finished it today and I think it is quite successful." (WFA)
