Curatorial RemarksThis is the right side of an illustration reproduced on a double page layout (the left side is NCW 1851); each reprodution shows the artist's signature. Curatorial records indicate that in 1988, one of the stretcher bars was stamped: Copyrights ownd by the Pittsburgh Art Co. Sometime after 1978, the painting acquired the title Colts 45, but there no archival authority for that title has come to light.
