Curatorial RemarksThis painting was examined by the owner in 2008 for notations on the stretcher similar to those that appear on paintings that were included in Wyeth's Philadelphia Sketch Club exhibition of 1912. No marks were recorded, but the owner did not note whether the stretcher was original. A notation indicates that the painting was treated by conservator Gustave Klimann.
